BIOGRAPHY...

      We are a fun adventurous couple that both grew up in Rhode Island, on the east coast of the United States.  We saw the need for a great, reliable surf transfer business near our home in Costa Rica, and we reacted. 

Before coming together as a couple in 2004, he moved from southern Rhode Island to Boston and lived for 5 years managing upscale valet and marketing throughout the city. He began traveling to Costa Rica in 2001, and continued in the years following learning more about Costa Rica as the country grew itself.  In addition to traveling all over Costa Rica, his travels include the US, Canada, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Belgium, Jamaica, and Panama.

After growing up nearby in southern Rhode Island, I moved to London in '97 to study art & design at the Harrow School of Design and lived in the center of the city.  While abroad, I was also able to study for a bit in Paris at the American Academy of Art.  Then in '98 I moved to Manhattan, New York and worked for the next 9 years as a full-time clothing designer, becoming the Head Designer for Oleg Cassini's Womens Sport collection. My travels include all across and down the US, to London, Paris, Ireland, Amsterdam, Bahamas, Mexico, Panama, and of course my favorite, Costa Rica.

After we commuted between the two big cities for a few years and traveled to RI for the summers to enjoy the beach together, we decided it was time for a move somewhere closer to the beach year-round. So after the resignation letters were in, the leases were up, and the summer in RI was over, we packed our bags and moved to Costa Rica in the end of 2006. We lived here for 8 months before buying property.   

We traveled the entire country 3 times over, including crossing into Panama twice. We took buses, cabs, rented cars with friends, rode bikes, we slept in shacks, camped on the beach, chilled at surf camps, and stayed in 5 star hotels. We experienced every level of Costa that we could, in every area that we could get to.

Among all the big, contrived tour guide companies, we saw the need for something better and more enjoyable, something that mirrored our spontaneous surf excursions with our new-found friends. And now, our company is here to share that with you... Relax, Explore, and Live.
